The Anitra Vest is a loose oversized design that can be worn over dresses and blouses as well as on its own as a shirt. The raglan shape starts with a provisional cast-on, and is knitted top down in the round.

Floral patterns are knitted into the sleeves and around the neckline using the intarsia technique, and further patterns will be stitched onto the hem later.

Finished bust circumference: about 100, 107, 113 (120, 127, 134) 141, 147cm /  39.3, 42.1, 44.4 (47.2, 50, 52.7) 55.5, 57.8 ”

The shirt falls loosely on the body, recommended positive ease of approx. 15 cm.

Yarn:
We are recommending using our Yeavering Bell 4ply for this design.
Main colour: approx. 800, 850, 900 (950, 1000, 1050) 1100, 1150 m / 874, 930, 984 (1040, 1093, 1148) 1200, 1257 yards
Contrasting colour: approx.  60m / 65 yards

For sizes  1-6 choose Small – 3 skeins Yeavering Bell 4ply MC and 1 mini skein contrast colour.

For sizes 7-8 choose Large – 4 skeins Yeavering Bell MC and 1 mini skein contrast colour.

Needles:
3mm 40cm-long, or a set of 3mm double-pointed needles, and 80cm-long circular needles
3.5mm 40cm (or a set of 3.5mm double-pointed needles) and 80cm-long circular needles

Gauge:
26 stitches and 32 rows = 10 cm
