Bamburgh Shawl
Bamburgh Shawl was designed by Maddie Harvey.
Exploring the contrast between two of our gorgeously different Whistlebare yarns – Yeavering Bell and Cheviot Marsh, the Bamburgh Shawl features garter-stitch stripes, slipped stitches and simple cables to create a striking geometric pattern.
Named after the wonderful Bamburgh Castle, the shawl looks glorious knitted in regal colours and the tessellating pattern is reminiscent of the cobbled and tiled floors found in this fairy-tale castle on the Northumberland coast.
