Our Eadrith Wrap is a dramatic cable wrap that is a wonderful, snuggly blanket around your shoulders. Knitted from 9 skeins of Yeavering Bell Aran it is certain to keep you warm whatever the winter throws at you!
Eadfrith was the Bishop of Lindisfarne and is most well known for his illustrations of the Lindisfarne Gospels which were written to honour the life of St Cuthbert. The Celtic influences, intricate colour work and incredible patterns make the Lindisfarne Gospels an unending source of inspiration and this wrap is infused with the history and creative elements of this amazing masterpiece.
Eadfrith wrap is dramatic and attention seeking, and will always attract admiration. It will keep you incredibly warm as the dense fabric created by the detailed cables and the rich textures envelop you in comforting style as you walk on the beach in the wild winter winds, snuggle by a log fire with hot chocolate or snooze under it’s blanket like embrace.

A soft and gleaming worsted spun yarn from our own Angora Goats and Wensleydale Sheep. Hand dyed on the farm in small batches of 10 skeins.
