River Tweed Jersey

(1 customer review)

River Tweed Jersey is our contemporary take on a traditional fisherman’s jumper.

Knitted using two contrasting colours of DK yarn using a slip stitch technique River Tweed is almost three layers thick so perfect for our frozen winters here in Northumberland!

River Tweed is dependable, rugged, stylish and warm. Knit it for the man in your life and steal it to wear when you’re feeling the need for a warm hug. Alternatively get him to knit it himself and then steal it anyway!

4mm and 5mm needles – we recommend using a circular needle for the body panels.

Tension 27 sts and 36 rows to a 10 cm / 4inch square, using 5mm needles in pattern.

I would be interested in getting the pattern not the ready made sweater.

Hi, we are a yarn company, we don’t sell ready made. The pattern is available with the yarn to knit it from. It is knitted from Yeavering Bell DK.
