Shindig by Sachiko Burgin
Shindig is a beautiful crescent shawl designed by Sachiko Burgin. It was originally published in Pom Pom Magazine’s 5th Anniversary edition and is now available to purchase individually on Ravelry here
The curve of the shawl is perfect for wrapping and layering and we love the juxtaposition of stripes with an elegant fancy lace motif.
I made one of these when the pattern was first published and I love it. (My version uses more than two colours) To knit a two colour version you will need two skeins of the main colour in a DK weight yarn and one skein of the contrast colour. We are recommending using Yeavering Bell DK which will create a gorgeous lustrous knit with a fabulous drape.
