Snowy Forest by Midori Hirose.

Midori writes this about her sweater “I wanted to knit a circle yoke pullover with a snowy and frosty cable pattern, like rime ice (freezing fog) on branches and snow-covered trees. In north Japan, rime ice and snow cover trees thickly and build hulking shapes, which are called snow monsters. I have knitted voluminous snow monster cables and needle-shaped rime ice cables.”

Snowy Forest is worked from the top down in the round, featuring a deep circular yoke with bold cables. We have made these yarn calculations for the regular length version made with one strand of worsted weight yarn, for which we are recommending our Yeavering Bell Aran.

For sizes 1-5 select Small – 6 skeins.

For size 6 select Medium- 7 skeins.

For sizes 7-9 select Large – 8 skeins.

For size 10 select X Large – 9 skeins
